Join us on Wednesday, December 4th, for our second webinar in our series, Speaking with Trauma-Informed Changemakers.
Webinar Overview:
When: Wednesday, December 4th, from 2:00 – 3:00 PM ET
Where: Register online
Join Ukeru for the second webinar in our series in which we speak with individuals effecting positive change, helping reduce the use of restraint and seclusion, and driving a culture of comfort vs. control. We are fortunate to be joined by Guy Stephens, whose son, Cooper, has led him on an unexpected journey of advocacy in his hometown of Calvert County, MD. The work he is doing will likely have an impact well beyond his own backyard.
As Guy speaks with Ukeru President, Kim Sanders, you will hear about his story and the promise he made to his son to make classrooms safer for students and teachers, how he founded the Alliance Against Seclusion and Restraint, and how parents, teachers, administrators and advocates can make a difference in their own districts.
There will be time allotted to ask questions of both Kim and Guy.
